No Money, No Care and so delayed paychecks drive Jefferson Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center staff members to walk off the job last week, and the care home has now shut. With critically low staffing the moving trucks arrived and all the residents were moved to other area homes. The ‘Out of Business’ care home is located at 448 Old Clairton Rd in Clairton Pennsylvania.

With little notice his home is closed and he must move where he is told.

The home is owned by Bonamour Health Group LLC, and as we have reported at Senior Home Search, nursing homes owned and managed by large for profit companies have in many cases established a trend toward staffing and care issues when profit is the homes a main concern, not residents well being.
